The Dry Creek Archaeological Site is a historic area in Healy, Alaska best known for its contributions in the discoveries about the relationships of Asia and Alaska. Commonly described to be the spot that is the most reliable when it comes to showing evidence of a proof that there was once a land bridge connecting Alaska and Asia, the site is truly deemed highly significant.

According to experts, the Dry Creek Archaeological Site is also the very first site in the state of Alaska to show some real evidence that there was human presence in the region even way back during the Late Pleistocene area. This is a great stride, giving a definite date to the prehistoric start of the state.

This helped the Dry Creek Archaeological Site become declared as a National Historic Landmark in 1978.
