The Iditarod Finish is a competition held every March. This month is the perfect time of celebration and festivity right at Nome. Many teams complete a dog race that measures about 1,150 miles which will arrive right under the burled arch found in Nome. This happens every second week of the month.

All its visitors and residents from all around the globe look forward to this celebration. It comes not just with the peak of the competition but also with a grand banquet, nice shows that feature various arts and crafts, several native dancing sessions, and even a golf tournament right at Bering Sea. They also include the reindeer potluck along with The Miners, Mushers Ball and a lot more.
