The Ilanka Cultural Center is a museum and cultural site in Cordova, Alaska. It celebrates the region’s history and people, by commemorating the past through a series of artifacts recovered in the Copper River Delta and the Prince William Sound.
The Ilanka Cultural Center boasts of being able to be the home of the exhibits chronicling the life around the northern most rainforest on the west coast of North America. The beautiful setting became an excellent backdrop to the retelling of its rich history through the displays of items dating back to the prehistoric times.
If you’re visiting the Ilanka Cultural Center, you’ll find a series of permanent installations like the complete Orca whale skeleton hung in the lobby. There are also other exhibits available depending on the time of your visit.
