The Palace Theatre is a part of the Pioneer Park, specifically the ?Gold Rush Town? section of the site. The site is actually very enticing, featuring 35 restored historic buildings, the theatre one of them. This structure, however, is unlike the others in the area, since it still functions for its original purpose: to provide entertainment.

The Palace Theatre still hosts a good number of shows. As of this writing, they run the show called the Golden Heart Revue, which is a musical comedy that tells of the story of the city during the gold rush days.

A lot of people find visiting the Palace Theatre a great idea while in Fairbanks, mostly since it will totally give you a great experience, but also because it can help you get to know the city more in a fun way.
