The Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park is a State Historic Park in Wrangell, Alaska. It is best known for being the area with the highest concentration of petroglyphs, or ancient rock carvings, in the southeast region of the state.

Recently improved, the Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park is now more easily accessible than ever. Visitors can also now enjoy the site in the boardwalk that overlooks the Petroglyph Beach, Zimovia Straits, and the Stikine River. An interpretive facility is also available so visitors can get to know the area better.

The petroglyphs are still being studied, so further information may not be easily accessible. However, if you?re interested in historic stuff like this while being out in the scenic locations in the Great Alaska area, this could be an excellent stop for you.
