The Point Bridget State Park is Juneau?s only state park. It is a 2850-acre tract of land, created to preserve and conserve the location as best as possible.

Established in 1988 after years of locals lobbying for a state park, the Point Bridget State Park features a series of excellent natural features like cliffs, meadows, rocky beaches, and streams. It is even described by many as ?incredibly scenic? as the combination of its elements and its surroundings can really be breathtaking. You can enjoy birding, wildlife viewing, hiking, boating, and beachcombing here during your visit. Salmon fishing is also quite popular especially during the right time of year. Also, you can go skiing and snowshoeing around during the winter months.
