The World Eskimo-Indian Olympics is an annual event in Fairbanks, Alaska. It takes place every July for four days which are spent for competitions involving traditional Alaskan athletic events and dances.

The World Eskimo-Indian Olympics is a great venue where Native Americans get to test their skills, strength, endurance, and discipline among other things. It is also an excellent way for folks to meet new people, as well as celebrate traditional culture. History is also all abound the festivities, since all the events involve history, connected to how the ancient natives lived during their day.

Established in 1961, the World Eskimo-Indian Olympics is a truly interesting event to take part of, or even just to witness. It celebrates tradition, history, culture, and customs, making it a great stop in case you’ll be in town around the time it’ll be held in the summer.
