The Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area is a state park in Show Low, Arizona. It features access to the Fool Hollow Lake and is located inside the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.

Opened through a pioneering initiative by the United States Forest Service, Arizona State Parks, Arizona Fish and Game, and the city of Low Show, this recreation area features state of the art facilities and has become a popular recreational option in the area. Camping, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing are popular activities in the park.

As local lore would tell it, the area was named as the pioneering resident in the area, one Thomas Jefferon Adair in 1885, was told that only a fool would try and farm the area and the name has stuck since then.
