The Rex Allen Museum gives honor to Rex Allen and his contributions to Wilcox. Known as the ?Arizona Cowboy? and ?Mister Cowboy,? he was a real legendary singing cowboy who starred in western movies. He was also a voice talent in Walt Disney?s Wonderful World of Color and other 150 different Walt Disney cartoon characters.
The small western Museum houses Rex Allen memorabilia. It allows visitors to have a glimpse on the Rex Allen?s personal life. It also includes the local history and displays of other western stars. Currently, there is also a Hall of Fame that is under construction. The Museum houses its own theater and Gift Shop as well. The Museum supports and takes part in certain special events in the city.
