The city of Phoenix is known for a good number of wonderful things but not, however, for historic Victorian homes. But that?s what you exactly get when you visit the Rosson House Museum, which was completed in 1885. Today, visitors can freely explore the 2,800 square foot estate, which boasts of five fireplaces and ten beautiful rooms.

A standard tour of the historic home takes half an hour but those who wish to participate in any of the fun and educational activities at the Hands-on Heritage House should expect to spend a greater amount of time at the site. Most visitors also take home with them cylinder records, which are portable devices that allow you to enjoy minute-long vaudeville shows, music, and other forms of visual entertainment.

The Rosson House is located in Phoenix?s Historic Heritage Square, making it in close proximity to other historical attractions of the city.
