The Arkansas? leading center for art and culture is the Arkansas Arts Center. This art museum focuses on drawings, illustrations and primarily all artworks done on paper. This museum can be found at the intersection of Commerce and 9th Street in MacArthur Park in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas.

The institution was founded in 1960 through the efforts of the Fine Arts Club of Arkansas. Today, the museum is one of the leading cultural institutions in the state. It features several artworks though its permanent collections and mobile exhibits. The museum?s collections include works from renowned masters such as Odilon Redon, Andrew Wyeth, Pablo Picasso, and Rembrandt. Works of contemporary artists are featured in its permanent collection as well, such as those of John Connell, William Beckman, Jane Frank, Tim Lowly, Susan Hauptman, and Enrique Chagoya. Other attractions include the collection of Paul Signac drawings and works in watercolor.
