The Arkansas Folk Festival is celebrated since 1963 of every visitor and its local townfolk to pay tribute to the Ozarks culture. They show it through various musical performances and dancing right on the Courthouse Square. The main focus of the event is the parade that is old fashioned but it brings together the various school bands, several veterans groups to show patriotism, horses that are all duded up and some decorated floats of all kinds.

You can also get to enjoy other kinds of activities around the area like tours around the Blanchard Springs Caverns, mountain biking and hiking activities right at the Ozark National Forest and even fishing right on the White River. Kids and families alike will surely have a grand time during the event.
