The Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources is a state park and state-operated museum in Smackover, Arkansas. It chronicles and preserves the history of the state and the city of Smackover for once being the top ranking oil field in the United States.

Opened in 1986, the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources focuses on the 1920s, when Smackover became the center of one of North America?s wildest mineral booms. It features state of the art indoor exhibits and working equipment display inside the building and out on the adjacent Oil Field Park respectively. The museum is also designed in the 1920s look of the boom town although there are also displays about the origins and history of oil.

Admission to the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources is free.
