The role of railroad in the history of the state of Arkansas is remarkably chronicled and preserved at the Arkansas Railroad Museum. The museum is located at Port Road in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

The museum is housed at the former building of Cotton Belt, or St. Louis Southwestern Railway (SSW), a historic railway company that spanned several states including Arkansas. The former shops of SSW now serve as a gallery of historic railroad equipments. The museum is under the administration of Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society.

The museum houses several railway-related artifacts such as several rolling stocks under the National Register of Historic Places, such as SSW #819, the last steam locomotive built by SSW in 1943. The museum holds live exhibits during the first week of April, during which these locomotives are rolled out for the public to see.
