The Lake Catherine State Park is a state park and recreation area in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It features the beautiful Lake Catherine.

Measuring 1940 acres, Lake Catherine was created in the 1920s through the building of the Remmel Dam. Today, it is one of the five popular Diamond Lakes in the region. The Lake Catherine State Park sits on the shores of the lake and was created in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Numerous original structures from its early days still stand on the site. It boasts of 20 cabins, with a wheelchair accessible unit known as the Polly Crews Cabin, can be rented upon one?s stay at the park.

Aside from lodging at the cabins at the Lake Catherine State Park, visitors can also enjoy camping, boating, picnicking, hiking, and swimming at the site. There are also guided hikes and boat tours offered by the park?s management available every summer.
