The Mississippi River State Park is a state park and recreation area in Marianna, Arkansas. It is one of the newest units in the Arkansas state parks system.

The dreaming, planning, and conceptualizing of having an Arkansas state park along the Mississippi River has been around since the 1970s. However, it was only in the late 2000s when action was enforced. In 2009, the Mississippi River State Park was opened, but not with complete amenities and features.

Currently, the authorities are still working on it, but there is already a good amount of space open to the public. The site on the shores of the 653-acr Bear Creek Lake is already available for boating, swimming, fishing, and even camping. Further improvements are currently on the way, though.
