The Old Main is a late Victorian building located inside the University of Arkansas in its Fayetteville campus. It is the oldest building on site, and is the best known structure for locals and alumni.

Built around 1873, the Old Main was originally known as the University Hall. It was designed by John Mills Van Osdel and was built by Mayes and Oliver firm. The plan was originally used for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign?s University Hall.

The Old Main features a good amount of highlights. It includes the Arboretum, which is the home of samples of the trees that can be found in Arkansas. A statue of James William Fulbright can also be found here. It was listed in 1970 in the National Register of Historic Places.
