The Queen Wilhelmina State Park is a state park and historic site in Mena, Arkansas. It features the historic Queen Wilhelmina Lodge.

One of the Queen Wilhelmina State Park?s main attractions is the ?Castle in the Sky?, also known as the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. The ?castle? was built in 1898 as an attempt of the Kansas City, Pittsburg & Gulf Railroad to create a luxurious mountaintop resort. It was named after the Queen of Holland, since the railroad was largely financed by Dutch investors. Sadly, the venture didn?t really go off as it was the plan, and the resort was sold off three years later.

Today, the Queen Wilhelmina State Park offers one of the most beautiful views in all of Arkansas.
