Rating: None |
There?s no point of denying that Wal-Mart is already a big part of the American culture. A Wal-Mart store can be found almost anywhere in the country. But just like any other huge enterprises, this giant also started as a small store. To commemorate the humble beginnings of the successful corporation, they?ve kept the original store intact, known as Walton?s, and now serves as a Visitor?s Center and museum.
The Walton?s is now open for people who are interested in learning about the business? ascent to success. The site showcases memorabilia from the founder, Sam Walton?s, life. Materials like the old employee manuals and the hula skirt that Walton wore when he strutted down the Wall Street in 1984 can also be found here.
