Fish here and there. And lots of more fish everywhere!

If you are the kind who gets adrenaline rush from this kind of activity, then the White Oak Lake State Park in Arkansas can be the one for you. Located a few miles off Bluff City in Nevada County, Arkansas, the White Oak Lake State Park is a premiere fishing site for enthusiasts. This park sits right at the White Oak Lake, the second-largest man-made reservoir created by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in 1961.

The reservoir is surrounded by lush woodlands, with pine and oak trees providing excellent shelters and foliage to the park. Because of this woodland trait, the lake contains many submerged dead trees, which is just the perfect breeding spot and shelter for several fishes such as bream, bass, catfish, and crappie. Other park activities include biking, boating, and swimming.
