The Australian Museum is located in College Street, Sydney, New South Wales. Originally known as Colonial Museum or Sydney Museum, it renamed in June 1836 and opened for public viewing in May 1857. From just a warehouse for cultural and scientific artifacts, it is now being transformed into a contemporary sandstone complex housing where people can do research and enjoy educational tour through their great facilities.

There is so much that people can do as they visit this oldest museum in Australia. The culture, interesting history and political issues that indigenous Australians encountered are made evident through the numerous displays. In Australian Museum, there are permanent exhibits found like fossils of dinosaurs and skeletons of different animals. This exhibition is located on the level G of the museum.
