The Angel Island State Park is a state park in San Francisco Bay in San Francisco, California. It encompasses the whole Angel Island, making it quite a unique getaway.

The Angel Island State Park offers a lot of things to see, learn, and do. It is a historical area being the home of Coastal Miwok Indians for thousands of years before it became the haven of the Spanish explorer Juan Manuel de Ayala. Later on, it became a US Army post, a cattle ranch, and then an immigrants’ center, processing hundreds of thousands of immigrants from all over the world.

Today, the Angel Island State Park is a well known recreation area. Activities like hiking, fishing, windsurfing, biking, swimming, camping, picnicking, and wildlife viewing are just some of the top things to enjoy at the site. There are also some museums and well known restaurants inside the park.
