The antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is a state park and nature reserve in Lancaster, California. It is best known for its hundreds of acres’ worth of fields filled with California poppies.

Named after the area and the California poppy, the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve was created mostly to protect the said fields of the state flower, with the area being one of the most consistent poppy-bearing lands in all of the state.

The Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is most frequently visited for its fields of California poppies but it also offers other outdoor recreation like picnicking, wildlife viewing. The site also has several hiking and nature trails, as well as a visitor center containing information and exhibits about the site.
