The Asilomar State Beach is a state park and beach venue in Pacific Grove, California. It is mostly known for its stunning mile long sandy beach.

Featuring an ocean front facility, the Asilomar State Beach contains the Asilomar State Marine Reserve, which is also a part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The site also boasts of a beach with clear waters, which is often likened with the waters of the Bahamas. Visitors can enjoy swimming, surfing, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing at the site.

Aptly named as Asilomar meaning ?a refuge by the sea?, the Asilomar State Beach is also home to the Asilomar Conference Grounds. It features some historic structures that go back to the days when the property was still owned by the local YWCA.
