The Benicia Capitol State Historic Park is a state park and historic area in Benicia, California. It features the third location of California?s seat of government.

Best noted for being the only pre-Sacramento capitol that continues to exist today, the Benicia Capitol State Historic Park is an important historical venue in the state?s history. It is where the seat of government relocated to after they left Vallejo in 1853. Although, the site was only used for just a year and moving to its current location in 1854, the site is still preserved and conserved as a part of local history.

Visitors of the Benicia Capitol State Historic Park can enjoy a day exploring history at the site. It is open regularly on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
