Bodie is a ghost town that still has several buildings on site. Visitors are allowed to walk around and see the different things there including the old mill/mine area. There are other buildings including stores a saloon and a church that are also kept in their original condition.

The access road from Mono lake is easy to drive with a passenger car though the road is gravel/dirt.
