The Bothe-Napa Valley State Park is a state park in Calistoga, California. It is situated in the heart of the stunning Napa Valley wine county.

Originally an area where Wappo peoples and other Native American tribes lived comfortably and peacefully, the Bothe-Napa Valley State Park has quite a history. It also became a settlement for Spanish and Mexicans in the past centuries until it was acquired by Charles M. Hitchcock and became a vacation spot among San Francisco’s elite.

Today, the Bothe-Napa Valley State Park is an excellent outdoor recreation area where visitors can go picnicking, biking, camping, and hiking. Swimming is also allowed at the venue’s swimming pool which is open during the summer season for an additional access fee.
