Castro Adobe is a state park and historic area in Watsonville, California. It is newly acquired by the California State Parks system and is officially known as the Rancho San Andres Castro Adobe State Historic Park.

The Castro Adobe is best noted for its association with the Castro family. It is described as the ?grandest of all adobe buildings? and is a great representation of North California?s rancho period. It was built to serve as the governing seat of the Castro family and also later became a fiesta house.

The Castro Adobe is remarkable in so many ways. For one, its architecture is stunning. Two, it is the first structure to have a dance floor in the county. Three, it is also one of the first buildings to have an indoor kitchen.
