The Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area is a state park and recreation area in Colusa, California. It offers 66.5 acres of area.
Designed to accommodate visitors who are looking forward to some outdoor recreation, the Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area is equipped for camping, hiking, picnicking, fishing, and boating. It has the only boat launch in the Colusa and Beehive subreaches. Home to the Sacramento River, which is a major migratory route for birds, it is also an excellent spot to go wildlife viewing.
Aside from outdoor activities, the Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area also has some historic areas. The river was once home to the River Patwin Indian tribe and John Muir also camped near the area in 1872.
