The Emeryville Crescent State Marine Reserve is a new state park in Oakland, California. It is operated as a part of the Eastshore State Park.
Covering 103.5 acres of area, the Emeryville Crescent State Marine Reserve is still being developed as a state park and recreation area. However, some portions are already open to the public under the East Bay Regional Park District. The site is home to wetlands that serve as home to various marine life.
Visitors of the Emeryville Crescent State Marine Reserve could enjoy fishing, biking, hiking, wildlife viewing, windsurfing, picnicking, and kiteboarding at the site. It is commonly used by local fishers and dog walkers for recreation, so expect to see plenty of these folks around as well.
