The Emma Wood State Beach is a state park in Ventura, California. It is popular for various water oriented activities that can be enjoyed while at the site.

Thanks to the location’s moderate temperatures, the Emma Wood State Beach prove to be an excellent spot for swimming, fishing, and surfing. Folks troop to the site to experience the warm waters where catches could include corbina, cabezon, bass, and perch. Wildlife viewing is also possible at the site, as dolphins and seals are found in the waters from time to time.

Camping is also a popular activity at the Emma Wood State Beach. Be warned, however, that the campground is located next to the railroad track and just below the highway, which could cause noises all throughout the night.
