The Fort Ross State Historic Park is a state park and historic site in Jenner, California. It is best noted for its connection with the attempts of the tsarist Russia to colonize the United States.

The Fort Ross State Historic Park contains the site Fort Ross. Built in 1812, it served majorly as a settlement for the Russian-American Company settlers. Most of what can be found in the park today are reproductions of the original structures in the site, but there is one original building, known as the commander’s house, which is a designated National Historic Landmark.

Noted for its stunning views and setup, the Fort Ross State Historic Park is a famous attraction. It is open daily on the summer months, but after the season, it will only operate on weekends.
