The Franks Tract State Recreation Area is a state park and protected area in Isleton, California. It is composed mostly of water, with the site being composed mostly of submerged land.

Covering 3300 acres of protected area, the Frannks Tract State Recreation Area is only accessible by boat. This adds charm to the beautiful state park.

Originally an agricultural area, the site where the Franks Tract State Recreation Area was affected by massive flooding back in the 1930s resulting to its current set up. There are very few land forms that are still exposed today, and extreme care is necessary to those who plan to bring their big boats out here because the mean low water depth in the site is about 10 feet or even lower in some areas. The site offers very beautiful beaches, though, and the conditions are perfect for fishing.
