The Fremont Peak State Park us a state park in San Juan Bautista, California. It is best known for its stunning vistas.
Albeit small, the Fremont Peak State Park is very charming. It offers a great view of the Monterey Bay and the Pacific Oceans right on its hiking trails up to the higher areas of the Gabilan Range. Named after the Fremont Peak, which is contained in the park, the site also provides vistas of the Salinas Valley, San Benito Valley, and the Santa Lucia Mountains.
The Fremont Peak State Park is also popular for camping, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. There Is also an observatory at the site which welcomes visitors. There are a couple of rules to follow when visiting the observatory, though, and it is very important to keep them in mind.
