The Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park is a secluded state park in Carlotta, California. It is a low use park, mostly for its remote location.

The establishment of the Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park was initiated by the area’s original owner, Owen R. Cheatham, who is also the founder of Georgia-Pacific Corporation. He donated the land to the state in an effort to preserve the stand of redwoods in the site. The redwoods now compose the very heart of this small park.

Visitors of the Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park can enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking. Due to its secluded locations, sometimes, visitors could actually have the whole place to themselves, offering the utmost peace and quiet that is possible.
