The Huntington State Beach is a protected beach in Huntington Beach, California. It is best known as a great summer destination.
Stretching two miles from the Newport Beach to Beach Boulevard, the
Huntington State Beach looks like a thin strip of ribbon that separates the water from the buildings. This provides quite a good amount of space, especially since the site can attract a great amount of visitors during the summer months.
Like most California beaches, the Huntington State Beach is popular for surfing.
However, this is banned during the summer as it can get overwhelming to the other beachgoers. Swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking and bird watching are also the other activities popular at the site. The park also has fire rings for bon fires, although, they close at 10 pm.
