The Kruse Rhododendron State Reserve is a state park and nature reserve in Cazadero, California. The site was donated to the state in 1933 by Edward P. Kruse in honor of his father who is a founder of San Francisco?s German Bank.

Originally a part of a large ranch that was owned and operated by the Kruse family starting the late 1800s, the Kruse Rhododendron State Reserve was turned into a living memorial to the Kruse patriarch. The site is rich with second-growth redwood, tanoaks, grand firs, and, of course, a great variety of rhododendrons. It also features mile of nature trails that are designed for hiking. Visitors are requested to stay on the trails to avoid disturbing the plant growth in the site.
