The Lake Perris State Recreation Area is a state park and recreation area in Perris, California. It features the artificial lake, Lake Perris.
Established to provide the public a great venue for recreation, the Lake Perris State Recreation Area maximizes the scenery of the man-made lake, created by the Perris Dam. Its primary offer is water oriented recreation like swimming, boating, fishing, windsurfing, and scuba diving. However, aside from these, you can also enjoy hiking, camping, and horseback riding at the site. There are also some facilities for picnicking and informational tours being the home of the Ya?i Heki? Regional Indian Museum.
The Lake Perris State Recreation Area is open all week round, all year long. There are specific rules, however, for certain areas of the park, so make sure to take note of those.
