The Leucadia State Beach is a state park and beach in Encinitas, California. It is also commonly known as Beacon Beach among locals who frequent the site.

Noted for its excellent location, the Leucadia State Beach is a well known beach destination. As the beach is located down a bluff, visitors will need to trek down a winding path, which adds charm to the site. Some tend to find the long walk quite a setback, though, making the park less crowded, which is also ideal for its small size.

When visiting the Leucadia State Beach, look for the Beacon Beach sign instead. This will give you better chances in finding the site, as it is the more commonly known name of the park.
