The Limekiln State Park is a state park and protected area in Big Sur, California. Like many other attractions in the area, it boasts of stunning scenery of the coast.

Named after the kilns used to produce lime in the 19th century, the Limekiln State Park has a pretty diverse environment. It has a sandy cove beach and a redwood forest in its total area. It has 24 campsites near the beach or the redwood forest. It is also home to the breathtaking 100 footer Limekiln Falls.

Visitors of the Limekiln State Park can enjoy hiking and fishing at the site as well. Make sure to observe park rules while at the site, though, to avoid any kind of hassle.
