The Little River State Beach is a state park and beach in North Coastal, California, just a couple of miles north of Eureka. It is located just right off US Route 101, making its location convenient.

Best noted for its broad open beach with sand dunes, the Little River State Beach offers more than ten thousand feet of shoreline that traces the northern California coast. Folks visit the site for some wildlife viewing, swimming, windsurfing, fishing, and hiking. Campers can also enjoy the area through the nearby Clam Beach County Park.

Some accounts and previous visitors claim sightings of a mythical Bigfoot in the area, but no claims were substantiated. You can also call the management for more information about the park.
