The McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is a state park in Burney, California. It is the second oldest state park in the California State Parks System and is known for its wide selection of recreational activities.

The main attraction, and mostly the reason for the McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park?s popularity, is the Burney Falls. Measuring 129 feet high, it is quite a dazzling view that President Theodore Roosevelt called it the ?Eight Wonder of the World?. The best part is that it is located at the entrance of the park, so there?s not much need to trek to the more secluded areas of the site just to see it.

Visitors of the McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park can also enjoy swimming, camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, windsurfing, boating, picnicking, and horseback riding at the site.
