The Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve is a state park and nature reserve in Lee Vining, California. It is considered by many previous visitors as one of those places that you have to visit at least once in your lifetime due to its uniqueness and great beauty.

The Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve?s main highlight is its tufa tower formations located at the Mono Lake. These tufas are limestone varieties formed by precipitation of carbonate minerals. It is said that these things are not easily found elsewhere, making them rare and exceptional.
