The Montaņa de Oro State Park is a state park and recreation area in Los Osos, California. It offers a diverse natural setting, from rugged cliffs to coastal plains, canyons, streams, and hills.

Named after the golden wildflowers that are abundant in the area, the Montaņa de Oro State Park features a wide range of things to see and do. It has cliffs, sandy beaches, streams, hills, canyons, plains, and the 1347 feet Valencia Peak at its area of responsibility offering a good deal of outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, and picnicking among other things.

Covering eight thousand acres, the Montaņa de Oro State Park is considered as one of the largest state parks in California and receives about a million people a year.
