The Montgomery Woods State Reserve is a state park and nature reserve in Willits, California. It is noted for being home of one of the most scenic redwood groves in existence.

Despite having only 2 miles of nature trails, folks visit the Montgomery Woods State Reserve for its serene beauty. Also, at one point, it was home to the tallest tree in the world, the Mendocino Tree, before the title was snagged by the Humboldt Redwoods State Park and the Redwood National Park.
