The Morro Strand State Beach is a state park and protected beach area in Morro Bay, California. It is a well known habitat for the Western Snowy Plover, an endangered bird species that is federally protected.

Featuring a three-mile coastal beach, the Morro Strand State Beach is a beautiful beach park that runs parallel to the Highway One between the Cayucos and Morro Bay towns. It provides a view of the Estero Bay and the Morro Rock and visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching, and hiking at the site.
