The Morro Strand State Beach is a state park and protected beach area in Morro Bay, California. It is a well known habitat for the Western Snowy Plover, an endangered bird species that is federally protected.

Featuring a three-mile coastal beach, the Morro Strand State Beach is a beautiful beach park that runs parallel to the Highway One between the Cayucos and Morro Bay towns. It provides a view of the Estero Bay and the Morro Rock and visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching, and hiking at the site. Due to the strong winds at the park, folks can also try kite flying and surfing without a fuss. Camping and picnicking can also be easily enjoyed at the site.
