The Mount San Jacinto State Park is a state park and recreation area in Idyllwild, California. It features the 10,834 feet Mount San Jacinto, which is the second highest mountain range in all of Southern California.

Situated just two hours out of LA or San Diego, the Mount San Jacinto State Park offers a great nature getaway to its visitors. To reach the deeply weathered summit of this granite peak, visitors can take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway or through the Pacific Crest Trail which is considered as the ?crown of America?s scenic trails?.

Mount San Jacinto State Park visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, and picnicking at the site. The site is open year round, except of the Stone Creek Campground which only operated from May to September.
