Ocean Beach is an oceanfront neighborhood in San Diego, California. It is best known for its wonderful beaches and classic beach-side lifestyle.

Being a community, it has a good deal of things to offer. For one (or two actually), is its sandy beaches. It has two beautiful beaches; one is the regular beach that is open year round and is frequented for swimming and surfing. The other one located at the northern end is ideal for folk with pets as dogs are welcomed here.

Ocean Beach is also popular for its sunsets. To get the best view, head to the Sunset Cliffs where you can also enjoy sightseeing and picnicking. There’s also a beach here, although swimming is not recommended as there are no lifeguards around. Adventurous surfers love this spot, though, for the waves are rougher.
