Sure, the Fisherman?s Wharf in San Francisco is a very popular tourist destination, but there is actually another Fisherman?s Wharf in California that you wouldn?t want to miss. This time around, the said wharf is located in the city of Monterey. And just like the one in SF, this area also contains some of the most popular seafood restaurants in Monterey.
However, the Monterey Fisherman?s Wharf (technically known as the Old Fisherman?s Wharf) also has a unique history of its own. While it was initially built for commercial fishing operations, it has since shifted to tourism after the number of sardines in the bay dwindled.
Performers also add additional entertainment and attractive value to the site. Musicians, jugglers, and clowns give it more life during daytime while theater shows, comedy clubs, and live music attracts visitors ar night.

For some, there isn't much to see at Fisherman's Wharf. However, a trip to San Francisco is never complete without seeing it.
