The Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park is a state park and historic site in Pescadero, California. It features the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, built in 1871 to help guide ships on the state’s Pacific coast.

Today, the lighthouse and its surrounding area are known as the Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park. The site offers a good amount of things to see and do, including a wide array of recreational activities like picnicking, fishing, and hiking. Tours were once offered around the 115-footer tower, but in 2001, they were stopped due to the crumbling condition of the structure, proving it unsafe for visitors. However, plans to repair the lighthouse are underway. Also, the old lighthouse keeper’s housing is available as a Hostel.
